Plein Air Art Gathering

Join us for a relaxed art outing on Friday and Saturday after the Unconference. Whether you paint or draw regularly or only now and then, you’re welcome to come along, enjoy the setting, and make something—or spend time with good company.

If you don't paint or draw, bring your journal to write in, your camera to capture the beauty with, or your knitting or crochetting.

We’ll meet for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. at the hotel restaurant, then head to the bay past Lava Lava Beach Club around 9:00 a.m.

The morning light makes it a lovely place to paint or draw. Bring your own art supplies and stay as long as you like.

Around lunchtime, we’ll gather at Lava Lava Beach Club for lunch. Afterward, anyone who wants to can continue creating or visiting at Paniolo Terrace at the hotel. Or take the afternoon at your own pace: swim, rest, explore, or join us later.

A handful of us expect to join, and we will have room for a few more. There’s no formal program and no pressure to participate both days. Come for the art, the conversation, or the beautiful setting.

No need to register or sign up. Just show up and enjoy a bit of the art life!
