Mr. Akaka has been at each of the Self Storage Hawai'i unConferences to help us get a better feel for the marvelous places and the wonderful people of the Hawaiian Islands.
Mr. Akaka continues to nurture the culture, the essence, and the Spirit of Hawai‘i. Mr. Akaka is an active Board Member of the Bishop Museum, the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame, the Pohakuloa Cultural Advisory Committee and the Akaka Foundation for Tropical Forests.
Danny Akaka, Jr. Board member of the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame
If you think it is a long plane ride to Hawai'i, imagine sailing there in a double-hulled canoe across thousands of miles of ocean guided only by the stars, the currents, the birds, and the stories of seafarers from generations past.
